Brentford is now considering whether to increase their offer for Veerman, who could potentially join fellow Dutch player Antoni Milambo in the team's midfield. This move comes after PSV's star midfielder Malik Tillman left for Bayer Leverkusen earlier this summer. The club has recently signed Bayern Munich talent Paul Wanner, but still wants to hold onto Veerman with only three days left in the transfer window.
Veerman, a 26-year-old from Volendam, has expressed his desire to leave PSV and move abroad for over a year. In the summer of 2024, PSV reportedly valued Veerman at €50 million, but he was unable to make the move. Veerman joined PSV in 2022 from sc Heerenveen, where he was signed for €6 million. In 158 games for the reigning Eredivisie champions, Veerman achieved 49 assists and 24 goals across all competitions.
