He started his professional journey at Southampton, where he made 283 appearances and scored 60 goals in two separate spells with the club.
Adam Lallana also represented England internationally and spent six years at Liverpool, making 178 appearances and scoring 22 goals.
Later in his career, he joined Brighton for two years, playing 104 games for the team.
Before announcing his retirement, Lallana rejoined Southampton last summer and worked as part of the coaching staff under caretaker manager Simon Rusk.
