When asked why he chose Burnley, Walker explained that he wasn't getting enough playing time at City. "I wasn't playing," he said. "I have a lot of respect for Manchester City fans, who have been very supportive throughout my time with the team."
Walker also reflected on his decision to leave City for Milan. "I was the captain of the team, and we weren't doing well at the time," he said. "I felt like I was being blamed for the team's struggles, even though I wasn't the only one responsible."
Walker acknowledged that he might have made a different decision if he had the chance to do it again. "Maybe I should have stuck with the team and worked through the tough times together," he said. "But sometimes, you have to think about your own career and make decisions that are best for you."
