Textor has proposed a solution by placing his Palace shares in a trust, known as a "blind trust." This is a common practice among clubs with shared ownership. However, UEFA has rejected this proposal as it did not meet their deadline of March 1.
In the past, other clubs with similar ownership structures have been able to use blind trusts to comply with UEFA's rules. For example, Manchester United, Nice, and Manchester City's affiliated club Girona have all used this approach to participate in European competitions.
