Fascetti believes the English team has a keen eye for talent and isn't careless in their signings. He thinks Leoni is an excellent player who will do well in England.
"For a player like Leoni, €35 million is not a lot of money," Fascetti said. "Our teams should have done more to keep him." He thinks Parma made a mistake in letting Leoni go.
Fascetti also spoke about Ademola Lookman, who has been demanding a transfer from Atalanta. Despite their public disagreement, Fascetti is optimistic that they can resolve their issues.
"I'm sure they'll reach an agreement. It's not in anyone's best interest to continue this confrontation," Fascetti said. "If Lookman has a contract and is still acting up, I would take drastic action." He thinks players with contracts should respect their teams and play for them.
