Tottenham Hotspur's legend Glenn Hoddle expressed confidence that his team will score in the return leg of their Europa League semifinal against Bodo/Glimt in Norway next week.
The first-leg match saw Spurs win 3-1, with Bodo/Glimt scoring the final goal of the game. Hoddle acknowledged that the Norwegian team poses a challenge, especially at home, where they have beaten strong opponents.
However, Hoddle believes that Tottenham will be able to score in Norway, which he thinks will seal their advancement to the next round. This optimism is shared by former Tottenham goalkeeper Joe Hart, who pointed out that the team's injuries to key players James Maddison and Dominic Solanke are a concern.
Hart noted that had Tottenham won the first-leg by two goals, they would have been in a stronger position. Despite the late goal scored by Bodo/Glimt, Tottenham's chances of progressing in the tournament remain intact.
