As part of the agreement, Bayer Leverkusen has agreed to pay a total of £35m for Quansah's transfer. This includes an initial payment of £30m, along with an additional £5m in bonuses.

It's worth noting that Liverpool has included a buy-back clause in the deal. This means that they will have the option to re-sign Quansah in the future for a set fee of €80m.

Quansah decided to leave Liverpool this summer, citing limited playing opportunities during the previous season's Premier League title-winning campaign.
