One of the new scholars is Isago Silva, the son of Thiago Silva, who played for Chelsea from 2020 to 2023. Isago has been with Chelsea since his Under-13s year and has developed into a skilled and versatile defender. He has already made an appearance for the U18 team, debuting in a 3-1 win over Leicester in February.
Isago's father, Thiago Silva, played for Chelsea from 2020 to 2023 and made 155 appearances for the team, scoring 9 goals. It's no surprise that Isago has followed in his father's footsteps and is being mentored by the same team.
The new scholars also include other promising talents, such as Ryan Kavuma-McQueen, who is playing for the U21 team despite being only 16 years old. Ibrahim Rabbaj, a Moroccan youngster, has also joined the team and is expected to make a big impact.
