This achievement is notable, as only six players in Premier League history have reached 100 combined goals and assists at a younger age than Saka. He has joined an elite group of players, including Michael Owen, Wayne Rooney, Robbie Fowler, Cesc Fabregas, Romelu Lukaku, and Ronaldo.
At just 24 years and 29 days old, Saka has beaten other notable players like Harry Kane, Raheem Sterling, and Erling Haaland to reach this feat. Despite this accomplishment, Saka remains ambitious and wants to continue improving.
"It feels very good," Saka said after the game. "But I'm always hungry for more. I need to not take it for granted, especially after being out with a few injuries over the last few months."
"I don't take these things for granted anymore, so I'm really happy with that milestone and I want to push on for more," Saka added.
Saka began his professional career at Arsenal's Hale End academy and made his Premier League debut under Unai Emery in 2019. He has since become a key player for the club and will now look to continue his form into the international break for England under manager Thomas Tuchel.
