Nico Paz, the Como midfielder, is being linked with a move to Tottenham, but his recent form suggests it's motivating him rather than distracting him. He scored a beauty of a free-kick in his team's 2-0 win over Lazio, and his assist before that may have been even better. He received a 9.1 rating for his outstanding performance.

Alexandru Maxim, the 35-year-old Romanian from Gaziantep, is showing no signs of slowing down. He scored a 95th-minute winner from the spot for his team against Genclerbirligi, and had earlier set up their first goal with one of the best passes of the season. He earned a 9.1 rating for his impressive display.

Pedro Goncalves, the Sporting CP midfielder, got three goals and one assist in his team's 4-1 win away to Nacional. His hat-trick included two excellent efforts from just outside the box, earning him a perfect 10 rating.

Attack

Tajon Buchanan, the Canadian from Villarreal, enjoyed a Sunday evening to remember, netting three times against Girona to become the first-ever Canadian to score a hat-trick in LaLiga. His first goal will live long in the memory, as he surged beyond his marker on the right wing before rifling a thunderous effort into the roof of the net. Harry Kane, the Englishman from Bayern Munich, carried his form from the Super Cup triumph over Stuttgart into the Bundesliga's opening night, bagging a second-half hat-trick as the Bavarians thrashed RB Leipzig 6-0. He found the net with three typically unerring finishes, including a sublime sweeping strike for Bayern's fifth after combining well with new signing Luis Diaz. Jean-Matteo Bahoya, the French attacker from Frankfurt, rose to the occasion in his team's impressive 4-1 home triumph against Werder Bremen. He headed home from Can Uzun's delivery in the first half before lifting a sumptuous finish over Mio Backhaus early in the second period to secure all three points for the Eagles.
